We are looking for someone to lead our kitchen.
Leading the Kitchen means :
- Having a culture of care and respect for your kitchen and the product that it serves.
- Following existing recipes and taking opportunities to improve as needed.
- Developing new recipes which are thoughtful, well-vetted, documented and costed.
- Working with management to innovate and evolve which keeps our loyal clientele engaged and coming back.
- Holding your team accountable to the restaurant's standards and doing so while devleoping, teaching and encouraging them to be better and more knowledgeable cooks.
Additional Requirements :
Thorough knowledge of Vietnamese cuisineMinimum 3 years in a commercial kitchen, at least 2 of which with supervisory experience e.g. Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef.Two references from previous employersWe are willing to pay great money for a great chef. We want you to take the stage and shine but will always support you to the best of our ability on a daily basis. Administrative skills are preferred but we are willing to do on the job training and ensure you have the team behind you that you need to be successful.
