API Developer

A company is looking for an API Developer for a remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities :

Define and document API specifications, endpoints, data models, and protocols

Design, develop, and implement APIs using programming languages and frameworks

Integrate APIs with internal and external systems to ensure reliability and scalability

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

5+ years of relevant experience in API development and integration

Advanced proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git, Java REST Web Services, Spring Boot, and SQL

Strong understanding of API design principles, data modeling, and secure coding practices

U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
