Accountant
The Office of Financial Institutions is responsible for the supervision of various entities which provide financial services to the citizens of the State of Louisiana. The Accountant position serves as the principal assistant to an Accountant Administrator 1, who serves as the chief accountant for all accounting, budget preparation, and financial reporting duties for the Office of Financial Institutions. As the principal assistant, this position is responsible for assisting with the processing of Accounts Receivable, Travel Expenses, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Budget preparation.
