Job Summary
Techgene Solutions LLC is seeking a Lead AWS Data Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of a service data hub / marketplace. The platform will provide curated client service data to internal consumers, including analysts, data scientists, content authors, downstream applications, and data warehouses. The ideal candidate will design enterprise data models, define integration workflows, and ensure data quality, compliance, and governance across structured and unstructured datasets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and implementation of complex data integration solutions in AWS, Databricks, and / or Snowflake.
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Design and maintain enterprise data models for contact center-oriented data lakes, warehouses, and analytic models.
Collaborate with source system owners to define integration rules and data acquisition methods (streaming, replication, batch).
Define and implement data quality monitoring and validation workflows.
Mentor developers and collaborate with architects and engineers across teams.
Manage and maintain enterprise data taxonomy and data catalog .
Implement CI / CD processes with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements .
Analyze data sources to assess usability and define metrics, KPIs, and hierarchies.
Communicate technical solutions clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data engineering and transforming contact center data into consumption-ready datasets.
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services , Databricks, and / or Snowflake.
Proficiency in RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, Python, PySpark , and ETL processes.
Experience with web services-based data integration , workflow management, and subscription features.
Knowledge of data quality, compliance, governance, and security standards.
Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines , GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills .
Familiarity with contact center technologies (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Genesys, Calabrio, Nuance, IBM Chatbot) is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and Data Catalog .
Experience with Agile development methodologies .
Databricks Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis .
Ability to innovate, simplify processes, and apply design thinking principles.
