Rail Switching Technician

Overview

Rail Switching Technician – Kansas City, MO. Be the next key member of our Rail Switching Team as the PSC Group is now hiring! Spend your days along the rail tracks and work as a team with the engineer on the train to safely move railcars in, out and around the facility. This is a regular full-time position so if you are looking for a stable, long-term career in a booming industry, then consider joining the PSC Group family!

Work Schedule : Sunday - Thursday (4 : 00pm - 12 : 30am)

Pay Range : Starting at $23.00 per hour (could vary with experience)

Responsibilities

• Examines track list to spot, separate, load and / or build railcars for shipment
• Ensures railcars are properly connected and / or are secured by setting the brake
• Separates loaded railcars that will be shipped from those that have been preloaded
• Weighs all inbound and outbound loads and empties to ensure weights do not exceed
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
