JBS Live Pork is seeking a highly motivated and analytical summer intern to join our team. A Business Analyst transforms production and accounting data into user friendly, actionable data to support field and management teams in the quest for continual improvement of operational efficiency. The Business Analyst will be responsible for working with multifunctional teams including accounting, production, and senior management teams to build, populate, analyze, and distribute focused reports of production and financial performance through both regular continuous improvement of reporting and Ad hoc efforts

Key Responsibilities

• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities. writing specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Interpret and evaluate data to develop integrated business analyses and projections for operational decision-making
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
