Scale Clerk

Position : Scale Clerk

Location : Bossier City Transfer Station

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m.

Pay Rate : $18.00 per hour

We are currently hiring a Scale Clerk to join our team at the Bossier City Transfer Station . This role is essential to the daily operations of the facility, ensuring accurate weight tracking, safe practices, and excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Greet and direct all customers and contractors upon entry to the transfer station
• Weigh trucks in and out and calculating payments for customers
• Track weight information from scale tocomputer systemand get appropriate signatures
• Ensure that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material
• Perform full clerical and general office duties
• Assist with office duties,filingand paperwork as needed
• Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Provide general upkeep of the Scale House
• Generate regular reports summarizing transaction data, weights, and other relevant information
• Provide reports to management as required
