Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent full time Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Grand Prairie, Texas. Hourly pay is $20.55 per hour with additional shift pay of $0.50 per hour. The schedule is second shift, Monday - Friday from 2 : 30 pm to 10 : 30 pm.

We want the right warehouse employees to join us at Ryder to work with state of the art equipment in the safest warehouse environment. Products being handled include food / beverage items. Equipment includes forklift, computer, and shrink wrap machine.

Various construction, building, carpentry, manufacturing, warehouse, skilled and semi-skilled labor roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Excellent PC skills in MS Office

SAP and warehouse management system (WMS) experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Check truck drivers in and out

Coordinate inbound and outbound loads

Assign dock doors for inbound / outbound activity in accordance with warehouse direction and vendor assignment in warehouse

Verify the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documentation

Partner with the inventory department to resolve any discrepancies

Assist in appointment scheduling as needed

Update required reports on a timely basis

Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs

Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
