The Superintendent is a motivated self-starter responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project.
This position will encompass all aspects of on-site project management, including subcontractor management, risk mitigation and safety policy implementation with a primary focus on Institutional Commercial Solar PV projects.
Must have experience with 800KW- 3MW commercial projects.
The Superintendent will provide leadership, guidance, autonomy, and hands-on participation to ensure all project implementation activity is completed in adherence to customer expectations and company standards.
Site Superintendents make an impact by :
- Connecting and collaborating with customers, subcontractors and third parties on all assigned jobsites with the objective of building and maintaining successful relationships,
 - Planning, leading and coordinating all work activities on the jobsite, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations with a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), AC and DC electrical systems,
 - Effectively implementing safety program and site specific safety plans with the objective of having zero incidents and ensuring everyone remains safe on the job,
 - Tracking, monitoring and reporting on safety, productivity, and quality of work performance on jobsites; identifying opportunities to improve and adjusting plans accordingly,
 - Leading on site Operations and Maintenance troubleshooting, including diagnostics on solar inverters and strings, assisting with equipment RMAs, and other activities to restore sites to full output,
 - Remaining accountable to meeting all established project plan and schedules.

A High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 5 years experience of successful onsite management of jobsites utilizing multiple trades in commercial large scale solar / PV constructionAt least 5 years experience as a site superintendent or foreman for commercial solar projectsExperience with commercial solar construction practices and sequence of work including;Experience with different types of interconnectionsRooftop experience with different racking productsOperations & Maintenance / Service Troubleshooting experienceKnowledge and understanding of testing and commissioningAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagramsAn ability to work varying shifts as neededActive Drivers LicenseIdeal qualifications :
Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering or technical fieldKnowledge of Mechanical and seismic codesExposure to major PV / Solar Inverters idealOSHA 30Journeyman or Master Trade licenseExperience with low and medium voltage electrical systemsElectrical contractors license, or an ability to obtain an electrical contractor license (as necessary) to self-perform electrical work throughout the regionThe travel required for this position is approximately up to 95% of the time and will be mostly regional.
