The Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling. Responsibilities include:
The Associate Program Director will report directly to the Program Director. Faculty Rank and salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. This position includes 0.75-1.0 FTE in the role of Associate Program Director, with possibly the option of up to 0.25 FTE in either a clinical or research setting.
Qualified candidates will have a Master's degree in the discipline of genetic counseling from an accredited program; certification in Genetic Counseling from the ABGC, CBGC, or ABMGG; 5 or more years of experience as certified genetic counselor; 3 or more years that includes teaching, fieldwork supervision, and/or research; recent training/coursework in curriculum design, assessment, evaluation or educational andragogy. Preferred qualifications include relevant experience in any of the following areas: program administration/coordination, project management, program implementation/evaluation, psychosocial topics, leadership development, and/or faculty development.
