If so, we would love to connect with you! VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, located Northeast of Sacramento, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind veterinary hospital!

Highly competitive salary with $12 / hour shift differential for overnight shifts.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide compassionate nursing care for all patients
• Completing treatments for outpatient or hospitalized patients
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia
• Triaging and stabilizing incoming emergency patients
• Participate in client communication and education, explaining medications, follow-up care, diet recommendations, and general animal care

Our hospital campus is on nine beautiful acres in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains, set amongst oak trees, a creek, and a pond and shared with wildlife.
