Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Assignment

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights

Hours per Week : 36 hours (guaranteed 34.5 hours / week)

Weekend Requirement : Every 3rd weekend (nights : Friday and Saturday)

Orientation : 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation

Scrub Color : Provided by hospital

Parking : Minimum $1.25 / hour

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,100 - $2,250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New York RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Current certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Experience with high-risk OB patients and fast-paced clinical environments

Proficiency with Meditech and GE charting systems (Epic experience a plus)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and high-risk obstetric patients

Perform full patient assessments and exams independently

Scrub for C-sections and assist in the operating room as needed

Care for patients in a 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit, including triage, labor, and OR beds

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including hospitalists, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy

Float to OB or nursery for support tasks (no patient assignments when floating)

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech and GE systems

Demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced setting
