Assistant - Development Operations (Temporary)
This role will be tasked with supporting the Development leadership team and helping implement donor stewardship and cultivation activities. Reporting to Development Operations Manager, and will work closely with the Senior Director of Development.
Support Development with various tasks around event management, stewardship, cultivation, donor mailings and outreach activities.
Produce Salesforce reports for donor acknowledgment letters; draft, print and mail letters. Maintain organized files.
Coordinate with Institutional Giving Team regarding pipeline information and enter institutional giving opportunities / revenue into Salesforce.
Assist with data entry and with data cleanup, which includes identifying duplicate records, reconciling and merging information. Perform online searches, when needed, to verify donor information.
Develop and manage event revenue trackers by coordinating with Development Operations Manager to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate special appeals and projects as requested.
Update and maintain various event lists.
Contribute to overall annual Development team goals, including revenue goals ($20M), and development operations team goals (accurate and timely data entry, reporting, transmittals, and acknowledgments).
Bachelor's degree required
Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office, and working knowledge of applications like Box, Zoom, Classy
2 - 3 years of work experience in development / alumni-related operations with increasing levels of responsibility and measurable results.

Strong organizational skills; must be comfortable managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines independently and as part of a larger team.
Exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; must be able to address and engage with diverse and multicultural communities through different mediums, including in-person and through messaging platforms, video chats / conferences, and phone calls.
