Now hiring Job Coaches to assist our Intellectually Disabled community. Variety of ages and disabilities from Down Syndrome, Autistic disorders to Moderate Intellectual disabilities. Areas needing service, Davidson,Rutherford, Williamson Counties and Others. Various shifts - full schedule or part time.
The Job Coach supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in finding and maintaining meaningful, competitive employment. This role focuses on helping individuals achieve independence in the workplace through job development, coaching, and self-employment support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining integrated employment or self-employment consistent with their goals.
Provide on-the-job support and training for individuals, supervisors, and co-workers (in person or remotely).
Develop and implement individualized job coaching and fading plans to promote independence.
Use effective teaching strategies, assistive technology, and natural supports to improve job performance.
Provide transportation to and from job sites as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervisors and employers.
Qualifications
Education / Training : DDA-required training through Relias, person-centered training, CPR / First Aid certification, ACRE certification (preferred or required upon hire).
Experience : Minimum 6 months working with individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities.
Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, teaching, and organizational skills. Must have reliable transportation.
