This individual will be responsible for all supervisory duties including, but not limited to, hiring and selection, developing performance plans, conducting performance appraisals, planning, and directing their work, approving leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate. This is a professional counseling position providing case management services to adult and Pediatric individuals with brain and / or spinal cord injuries.

This is a high-level professional position managing and administering the Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Program in the region. An employee in this position is responsible for administration and management of the program's activities, services, personnel and offices in an assigned geographic area. Manages and monitors all caseload activities within the region to ensure all services are provided in a timely and effective manner. Coordinates continuing education and training for program staff and encourages staff to utilize online training, community partners and professional organizations for training opportunities. Ensures the provision of prompt and efficient services and implements timely and corrective actions as needed. Reviews Program indicator reports and analyzes results to enhance regional performance and quality services to consumers. Provides technical assistance to case managers on complex cases.

Responsible for all supervisory duties including, but not limited to, hiring and selection, developing performance plans, conducting performance appraisals, planning and directing their work, approving leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate. Conducts monthly staff meetings utilizing teleconferencing capabilities. Coordinates and conducts one face to face regional meeting annually. Responsible for oversight of all Program policy and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the regional office. Administers, manages and monitors the regional budget all for travel and office supplies. Develops a budget allocation methodology to distribute available funding for Purchase Client Services to case managers.

Plans, organizes, directs, interprets and ensures full compliance with state, department and program rules, regulations and policies and procedures. Actively participates and contributes to the development of program policies and procedures. Participates and serves as a representative to local committees, special community initiatives and serves as liaison to various community agencies including the Department of Children and Families Services, Children Medical Services. Develops and maintains working relationships designated BSCIP facilities. Provides technical assistance, training and education to community partners, vendors, agencies, facilities and consumers. Other duties as assigned.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include knowledge of interviewing techniques, ability to compile, organize and analyze medical and psychological data, ability to provide counseling and guidance, ability to provide information and referral services, ability to locate and develop community resources, ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities, ability to actively listen to others, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others, knowledge of the acute and long-term care needs of people with disabilities, knowledge of and skills with Office 365 applications, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, knowledge of and ability to understand and apply statutes, rules, and administrative and program policies and procedures. Ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications : 2 - 3 years of supervisor experience. 3 years of budget management. Travel Time : 25-50%.
