Material Handling Specialist

Must safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment. Must be able to safely and effectively drive forklift. Safely and efficiently control the receipt, storage and distribution of ingredients, production materials and finished goods. Safely and efficiently perform all tasks pertaining to material handling job functions throughout the plant : some examples may include control storage of material, receive incoming material, replenish work stations, inspect incoming products, load and unload trucks, complete cycle counts, record inventories of products and their freezer and warehouse locations, pull finished product pallets from production lines and put product away in freezer, etc. Must be knowledgeable and efficient in all procedures and computer related functions pertaining to all material handling job functions. Must maintain a safe and orderly work area according to GMP and Safety guidelines. Will be required to work in other areas as necessary. Must be willing to perform all other tasks as assigned.

Significant experience driving standing forklift in a dry and wet areas (freezer). Good with math and strong computer skills. Experience with Inventory Scanners. Flexibility to work over time (8-10 hours a day - 5-6 days a week). Great people skills (patience easy to work with). Detailed oriented (this is key for this role).
