About this Position :

• This position will be in Lawton, OK at Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC).
• The Individual selected for this position will be assigned responsibilities related to managing the billing / reimbursement process.  This includes researching and reviewing claims and other information to identify possible third-party responsibilities and initiating appropriate action to recover funds paid for various medical expenses and other costs.
• This includes coordinating patient admissions to determine eligibility for benefits, maintaining enrollment with Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party network providers, coordinating with payors, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.  This position also completes billing cycles, updates patient accounts, and uses available resources to investigate claim situations and facilitate payments, gather support documentation to submit appeals and analyze various reports.
