Accounting Auditor

The position requires someone with a strong understanding of ASC 740 (accounting for income taxes) and experience preparing or auditing tax provisions. Familiarity with audit documentation software like Aura (PwC) or its competitors is also crucial. The role involves auditing a portion of tax provisions across 10-15 engagements within a month or two, focusing on quantity over depth.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Strong experience in income tax accounting and tax provision. Candidates with public accounting experience have been most successful. Industry or private company backgrounds have not been a good fit. These roles require resources to have traditional audit experience with tax experience AFIT (Accounting for Income Taxes) Tax provision and deferred taxes.

Job Type & Location : This is a contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $89.65 - $89.65 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
