Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a large hospital project in Los Angeles , with additional opportunities on surrounding healthcare projects. This is a high-impact role for someone looking to grow within a premier GC known for its excellence in public sector construction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day project operations from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate RFI, submittal, and change order processes
- Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, schedules, and procurement logs
- Work closely with field supervision to ensure adherence to schedule, scope, and budget
- Support subcontractor coordination and assist in managing third-party consultants
- Monitor safety compliance and participate in safety audits and meetings
- Ensure timely communication with project stakeholders and clients
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to issue resolution and planning
Requirements :
2 to 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with public works or OSHPD / HC projectsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsExperience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft ProjectUnderstanding of construction schedules, cost control, and contract administrationAbility to work on site in the Los Angeles areaPreferred :
