Job Summary

Front of House Staff are responsible for the customer service of the audience before, during, and after a performance and is mostly situated within the auditorium and lobby of the GCC Performing Arts Center, Recital Hall, and Soleri Amphitheater.

They assist patrons at entertainment events by performing duties, such as checking-in and collecting passes from patrons, assisting in finding seats, searching for lost articles, and helping patrons locate such facilities as restrooms.

• FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
• FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
• FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
• The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Politely directing and escorting patrons to their seats
• Providing patrons with programs and other relevant materials
• Ability to descend / ascend ramps and inclines / declines
• Work in a fast-paced, busy environment with environmental conditions such as noise, heights, dark / dim / absence of lighting
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to PAC uniform requirements
• Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
