Job Summary
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing the North America relationship and business for a large global client. The role focuses on improving on‑ground relationships while collaborating with the global HCL engagement team around overall client HQ’s priorities and growing the business in the North America unit.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen the on‑ground relationships with key leadership stakeholders in North America.
- Drive growth within the account and HCL’s wallet share within the customer portfolio.
- Develop deep connections within the client organization, with key stakeholders / decision makers, and move up the relationship value chain.
- Regularly engage in communication with clients to gain insights into their evolving needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements and pain points, crafting tailored solutions to effectively address their specific needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the value of our offerings for clients, recommending additional services.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, especially sales and delivery, to ensure alignment and highlight HCL value proposition to the North America business unit.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination to ensure seamless service delivery and support.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the seamless implementation and integration of solutions, offering ongoing guidance and support to clients throughout the process.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to client satisfaction, retention, and engagement, delivering regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders. Monitor delivery excellence for all on‑ground client commitments.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools for effective client relationship management and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving client needs.
Qualifications
10 years of IT Services sales experience in the relevant field.Proven ability to value‑sell, with an analytical capability and experience leveraging ROI‑based approaches to quantify success.High energy, bias for action, self‑driven, positive, “can‑do” attitude, flexibility, teamwork and attention to detail, high degree of integrity and initiative.Able to spend a significant percentage of time traveling.Have experience selling medium to large multiyear integrated deals.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.Seniority Level
