Pay Rate / Range : The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $28.88 to $29.70 / hour. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $28.88 to $49.76 / hour.

Brief Summary of Job Duties :
This position works within the Athletics Department team, and will focus on creation, design & strategy on all visual branding and marketing efforts for UC Santa Barbara Athletics. This position will create design work, and other digital elements as assigned for UCSB Athletics Department. The Digital Elements will prioritize social media and website imagery with a focus on, but not limited to, print collateral, digital advertising and internal and external branding of the Athletics Department. This position will help drive the overall brand and messaging of UC Santa Barbara Athletics. Maintains currency with emerging technological and social media developments, and recommends activities. Works closely with the Marketing and Communications team and program staff. Adhere to the Intercollegiate Athletics design standards when creating content.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
1-3 years Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Hoot Suite, content marketing and blogging
Preferred Qualifications :
1-3 years Experience working in higher education and / or knowledge of the higher education market
