AVP / Officer, Human Resources Generalist
Prestigious International Financial Firm is seeking an AVP / Officer to maintain alignment of HR policies and procedures with business unit goals and objectives. Develop and implement HR programs which support corporate objectives and work to create a team environment and an operationally efficient HR unit by effectively communicating with all staff within HR and peer Units.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with HR shared services
- Oversee full-life cycle recruitment for respective business units
- Advise management on compensation and employee relations matters
- Manage benefit programs, payroll, and on / off-boarding.
- Conduct training, and oversee diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Processing of all immigration related documents for business units
- Coordinate management training for HR risk & legal awareness
- Participate in drafting and maintenance of various policies and procedures within the department
Requirements :
3-5 years experience recruitment and employee relations in Banking / Capital MarketsBachelor's degreeStrong knowledge of federal, state and local labor / employment law.Experience in cross-cultural environment desirable.Strong communication and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.Benefits : Medical / Dental / life insurance, 401K,PTO
