Overview
Location : This is a remote role, but candidate preferably would reside in one of these states : CA, NV, OR, or AZ. Reports to : Senior Vice President (SVP) The Regional Vice President of Risk Management Sales at Gallagher will effectively and independently pursue new business, inclusive of developing strategy, pricing, and overall program architecture. Engage with prospects and brokers, developing a broad network for long-term pipeline growth and sales success. Positively represent the Gallagher brand in the marketplace to maximize revenue generation and profitability. Maintain knowledge of internal products and services. Effectively work with members of cross-functional teams including Client Services, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and IT. Utilize the appropriate resources to facilitate responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations. Mentor and assist in the development of other team members within assigned region and assist in achieving sales goals. Emphasis on mid-size and large clients, typically of moderate to high complexity.
How You'll Make An Impact
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals. Drive regional sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets. Lead sales pursuit of largest and most complex programs in the region. Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
About You
Required : Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required. Preferred : Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM. Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales leadership roles. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Track record of building and maintaining client relationships at the senior level. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and performance analysis. Ability to develop and execute business plans. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Decision making and problem-solving skills.
