    Who we are

    Perfect Performance NOVA is a youth sports institute focused on athlete development and advocacy in the DMV. We offer the best sports performance training platform to include : sleep, nutrition, sports psychology, strength, speed, agility, conditioning and sports skills training.

    Additionally, we offer the best sports experiences through our club teams, leagues, camps and events. Our purpose is to develop athletes for their next level of competition.

    Our mission is to develop our athletes leveraging our expertise and experience in sports performance, position and sport specific skills,techniques and game acumen.

    We are looking to add

    We are looking to add a Director of Field Hockey to lead the growth of our field hockey program. Specifically, the candidate will coach and lead the development of all field hockey players and teams as well as lead the administration of the field hockey program.

    Core objectives

    • Lead the player development process for every player in the club as well the skills training program
    • Recruit and hire great coaches to lead the training, club teams, camps and events business lines for field hockey
    • Oversee procedures and processes for efficiency and thoughtfully implement recommendations to develop and improve them
    • Assist in the creation of budgets, manage resources and align finances to the strategy of the field hockey business unit
    • Align yearly goals and objectives with strategies to achieve the goals and objectives in the field hockey
    • Lead the coaching staff of the of the field hockey business unit
    • Manage the communications between Perfect Performance and families in the field hockey business unit

    Director Of Field Hockey requirements and qualifications

    • Played and / or coached collegiate field hockey
    • Confident to speak candidly, assume roles and tasks, and then report back on what happened as well as its impact
    • Able to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment and own the results
    • Goal-oriented and organized leadership
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Self-motivated and self-directed
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Capable in both a leadership and team-player role
    • Strong aptitude for numbers and financial reports
    • In-depth understanding of the company and its position in the industry
    • Bachelor’s degree (field of study does not matter)
    • Working knowledge of various computer programs (experience with Google Apps for business preferred but not required)
    • Excellent analytical and time-management skills with good interpersonal skills and communication with all stakeholders
