Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a PRN Echo Technologist to join our Imaging Team. We are looking for a new team member who is -positive, energetic, able to multi-task, and loves patient interaction. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!

Our Echo Technologist must be able to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment with a pleasant disposition. They are responsible for performing routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound examinations and performs and provides a preliminary interpretation of studies performed. Examinations performed may include, but are not limited to, trans-thoracic, stress and contrast echocardiograms (utilizing commercially prepared contrast agents), peripheral venous and arterial exams, extracranial cerebrovascular exams, visceral vascular and / or renal vascular exams.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Graduate of an approved program of echocardiography and vascular technology / sonography, non-invasive cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and training.
• Echocardiography experience required. Vascular technology / sonography experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

RDCS with RVT preferred. CCI also acceptable. BLS, CPR

Required Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
