About the Company : We are delighted to be partnered with a leading renewable energy company that is looking for a Development Associate to join their team.
About the Role : The Development Associate will support the development finance and project management initiatives. The Development Associate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including financial analysis of potential and ongoing development projects, construction and permitting support, and fulfilling the team's administrative needs.
Responsibilities :
Database Management : Update and maintain project databases to ensure accurate and current information.
Due Diligence and Feasibility : Collaborate with third-party consultants to manage due diligence and feasibility tasks for new projects.
Development Support : Assist Development Managers with tasks related to permitting, zoning, and engineering.
Accounting Support : Aid Development Managers with accounting matters, including preparing purchase orders, approving invoices, and developing projected financial summaries.
Budget and Schedule Management : Maintain project budgets and schedules, reporting on any variances.
Progress Reporting : Prepare reports for senior management detailing development progress and critical decision points.
Equity Partner Support : Provide project information and related reports or presentations to senior management and equity partners as requested.
Meeting Participation : Attend internal and external meetings, summarizing critical issues and action items.
Team Support : Assist the development team with current initiatives and new business development activities.
Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree required
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field
