Your New Role : The
Senior Product Manager, App Platform
is responsible for shaping and driving the strategy, execution, and evolution of our mobile app platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and efficient across iOS and Android. This role sits at the core of our app ecosystem, enabling feature pods to deliver world-class user experiences faster and more reliably by providing the frameworks, tools, and infrastructure that power app development. As a senior leader within the product team, you will partner closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define priorities, make data-driven decisions, and advocate for investments that unlock long-term business and customer value.
Your Role Accountabilities …
Define and own the app platform strategy and roadmap, aligning with company goals while balancing platform needs and feature delivery
Collaborate with engineering leaders to execute projects from start to launch to post-launch, driving planning, refinement, ticketing, and execution using the agile process
Define and guide the strategy in partnership with engineering for shared frameworks, SDKs, and architecture patterns, driving consistency, quality, and efficiency across apps
Partner with engineering leaders to deliver a best-in-class developer experience, including CI / CD pipelines, build systems, and testing frameworks that speed up release cycles and reduce friction
Drive performance and reliability improvements by proactively identifying stability risks, technical debt, and optimization opportunities
Lead cross-functional initiatives with feature pods to reduce tech debt, resolve platform bottlenecks, and unlock innovation
Establish and maintain app security, privacy, and compliance standards to protect users and meet regulatory requirements
Collaborate with design to establish and evolve mobile design systems, ensuring scalable, accessible, and platform-consistent user experiences
Champion and scale experimentation capabilities, including A / B testing frameworks and processes, ensuring decisions are grounded in data and measurable impact
Develop and present clear, compelling business cases for platform investments to senior leadership, connecting technical decisions to business outcomes
Stay on top of the latest developments from Apple, Google, and the broader mobile ecosystem, bringing strategic insights into roadmap planning
Champion accessibility across mobile apps, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and driving inclusive design practices
Qualifications & Experience…
5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years focused on mobile apps or platform and infrastructure products
Proven experience owning and driving product strategy and roadmaps with measurable impact on app performance, scalability, or developer productivity
Deep knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, including release processes, app store management, and CI / CD best practices
Strong background in accessibility, knowledgeable in accessibility standards, testing, and building inclusive experiences
Strong background in experimentation such as A / B testing, feature flags, and metrics frameworks, with experience making data-driven product decisions
Exceptional communicator and storyteller, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for executives, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve trade-offs, and align stakeholders at all levels
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
Hands-on and curious, with a willingness to dive deep into technical challenges, ask tough questions, and continuously learn
Genuine passion for mobile apps, with an eye for industry trends and platform innovations such as foldables, Google XR, Vision Pro, and Mac apps

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and / or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range : $117,600.00 - $218,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
