LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Waterloo, Iowa Job ID : 136519

  • Specialty : Anesthesiologist
  • Dates / Coverage Needed : Start in Jan or Feb 2026. The schedule is 5x8's or 4x10's between Monday - Friday. Weekend call coverage is needed, but it's not a set schedule. Weekends are calls only. Nightly call is 7 days a week
  • Case Mix : General Anesthesia, OB, and some Peds (mostly tonsil and adenoids). No heads or hearts.
  • Case Volume : About 30-50 cases for the whole department per day
  • Support Staff / Supervision : Some supervision, some independent. There are 6 Anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs.

of OR's : 13

  • Credentialing Time-Frame : 60 days
  • Active IA license : Active Iowa license or IMLC required
  • BC / BE : Must be BC only
  • Certifications : ACLS required
  • COVID-19 Vaccination : Yes, required
  • Travel / Lodging / Rental or Mileage : Yes
