Senior Administrative Assistant at Southern California Edison (SCE)

Responsibilities :
- Performs a variety of administrative duties to support assigned leader, including managing the calendar and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences while prioritizing conflicting demands
- Serves as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, relaying messages, and facilitating communication
- Arranges travel itineraries, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and visas
- Prepares various templated weekly / monthly / quarterly reports for assigned leader and performs basic research as requested
- Drafts documents and presentations on behalf of the leader
- Interfaces with suppliers and vendors regarding requests for quotes, purchase orders, and invoicing
- Files and manages expense reports, ensuring timely submission and accurate documentation of expenses incurred. Includes tracking reimbursement status and resolving any discrepancies or issues
- Organizes and maintains files, records, and databases, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
- Supports the assigned leader with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications :
Two or more years of experience performing advanced administrative, secretarial, and clerical functionsPreferred Qualifications :
Ability to support multiple physical locations, splitting time across Westminster (primary) and PomonaProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Proficiency in purchasing, invoicing, and other procurement related activitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with integrityExperience supporting multiple stakeholders or departmentsExperience in supporting leadership to coordinate and host large staff or vendor meetings by making arrangement for logistics, coordinating agendas, coordinating meeting material, and sending communicationsAdditional Information :
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
