Senior Business Planner
Microsoft's Business Planning organization directs our commercial portfolio's pricing, packaging, licensing, channel, and monetization strategies. Within Business Planning, the New Commerce and Commercial Strategy organization works across Azure, M365 and Dynamics 365 driving cross-cloud monetization strategies for how and where customers buy. This includes defining the strategy for Microsoft's commerce experiences, commerce platform enhancements and engineering prioritization, channel business models, product licensing and use rights, and support as well as driving growth through audience specific offers and experiences. As a Senior Business Planner in the New Commerce and Commercial Strategy organization focusing on Commerce Strategy Workflow Intelligence and Process Excellence you will have the opportunity to define and lead strategic initiatives that drive company performance and accelerate impact through driving the end to end strategy, development and delivery of commerce strategy workflow optimizations, intelligent automation business enhancements, and commerce business intelligence solutions and enhancements that serve to accelerate impact across key areas of our business, serving multiple stakeholder teams and personas across our Commercial business. This role will be hands on across business strategy, solution design and implementation perspectives where qualified candidates will be proficient in differentiating themselves with Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Fabric / Power BI, and Azure DevOps knowledge and experience. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across engineering, finance, operations, marketing, legal and field sales; leading conversations with executives to drive strategy alignment and decision-making, and serving as a core strategic input driver of implementation.

As a Senior Business Planner in the New Commerce & Commercial Strategy organization, you will lead Commerce Strategy Workflow Intelligence and Business Excellence enhancements and implementation, taking responsibility for defining and evolving the strategy, scoping and driving key initiatives, gaining executive and stakeholder alignment, and translating the strategy into tangible business outcomes that accelerate impact and increase productivity.

Business Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
