This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in Tallahassee, Florida in the Office of the Inspector General. The mission of the Office of the Inspector General at the Florida Department of Corrections is to protect and to promote public integrity and accountability within the Department through investigations, audits, and inspections. We aim to detect and prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and misconduct, ensuring that the Department operates efficiently and effectively while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
