Compliance Coordinator (Remote)
We are seeking a highly detailed Compliance Coordinator to add to our growing Centralized Review Team.
Our dedicated Compliance Coordinator provides background support for the field branch locations and applicants while maintaining compliance with federal and jurisdictional consumer report legislation. Please note that this individual will be supporting the West Coast. The expected work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8 : 30 PM EST. There may be occasional opportunities for overtime.
Compliance Coordinator Opportunity :
- Complete background checks and individualized assessments with applicants.
- Review the background check results, and information obtained during the assessment and consult the Company's hiring criteria to determine eligibility for hire.
- Complete the adjudication process within CRM / ATS and upload all required supplemental documentation.
- Apply client provided adjudication matrices to background checks to determine eligibility for work assignments and perform pre-adverse and adverse action notification (when applicable).
- Provide follow-up with both the branch and applicant if additional information is necessary in order to complete adjudication.
- Foster relationships with field branches by providing responsive background check support via phone and email.
- Provide basic interpretation of legislation and case law as it relates to background checks : FCRA, EEOC guidance, and jurisdictional laws and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with consumer report laws and legislation.
- Maintain employment records.
- Document all transactions as required by department's SOPs.
- Personify the company's core values, operating principles, and service expectations.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Compliance Coordinator Preferred Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent1 year related human resource related experience and / or trainingCompliance Coordinator Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You'll Bring) :

This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual hourly salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
