As a Senior Tax Analyst - International, you will report to the Tax Director. You will have an international tax focus and will be responsible for supporting the company's domestic and international tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in U.S. federal, state, and international tax matters, and will play a key role in ensuring compliance and identifying tax-saving opportunities across our global operations.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Manage quarterly and annual US GAAP income tax provision including review of international tax packages, consolidated tax provision, valuation allowance analysis, and footnote disclosures.
- Prepare / review quarterly / annual journal entries related to income tax provision for domestic and foreign entities.
- Manage income tax compliance including filing extensions and quarterly estimate calculations.
- Assist with the preparation of US federal and international income tax forms including Forms 5471, 8858, 8990-8993,1120, 1118, etc. . . .
- Utilize Deloitte' IITR (excel based international tax module) for preparation of US tax calculations such as GILTI, FDII, and Foreign Tax Credits.
- Maintain detailed workpapers for international tax items such as Earnings & Profits (E&P), FDII workpapers, DASTM, Sec 987 calculations, stewardship and other support for informational reporting for Form 5471.
- Coordinate with tax advisors on master file & local transfer pricing documentation.
- Support finance teams in other jurisdictions in corporate income tax compliance.
- Use OneStream financial reporting system for data retrieval and ensure integration with tax calculations before final import into OneSource for both provision and compliance.
- Prepare and review state apportionment and state income tax returns.
- Assist as needed with personal property and real estate taxes as well as miscellaneous state tax filings (Ohio CAT, for instance).
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MST preferred.3-7 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax department.Microsoft Office Suite and OneSource tax software experience preferred.Mix of experience in federal, state, and international tax.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable working in a collaborative atmosphere.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Familiarity with publicly traded companies and their SEC filing requirements.Travel :
