Shift : Days (2×12-hour shifts)

Shift & Duration : Days | 2×12-hour shifts per week | 13-week assignment

Hourly Pay : $16 - $18 / hr

Weekly Pay : $384 - $432 / week

Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Phlebotomist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Collect, label, and process specimens using aseptic techniques.
• Handle and prepare various specimen tubes (gray, green, light blue, purple, red tops).
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and point-of-care testing (POCT).
• Prioritize specimen collection based on urgency (STAT, timed, routine).
• Verify patient identity and ensure proper positioning for procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all collections.
• Follow infection control, safety standards, and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to support fast-paced ED workflows.
