Weekly Hours : Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Pay : $5,830 – $6,250
Patient Population : Adult ICU patients

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements
Active Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license (KY NP jobs)
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience first assisting in cardiovascular procedures
Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting and first assist for CABG
Experience with Epic EMR
COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)
Healthcare Responsibilities
Provide full-time acute care coverage for cardiovascular surgery patients in an academic hospital
First assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting and CABG
Participate in morning rounds with faculty (typically 5–10 ICU patients)
Participate in night and weekend call coverage as scheduled
Document patient care using Epic EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
