As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Lead for our inventory management process and ensure accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.
This role is located in Virginia Beach, VA and the pay is $18.50 / hr. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Verify and inspect incoming materials against packing slips or purchase orders, ensuring conformity to PO specifications and accurate information is entered into the Inventory Database
- Process returns in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency using stock rotation, storage, and picking plans
- Accurately perform inventory counts on all stocked warehouse items, keeping inventory items at correct usage levels and report shortages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance inventory management efficiency
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inventory position
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software, NetSuite a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on your feet, lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime as needed
