Inventory Control Lead

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Lead for our inventory management process and ensure accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.
This role is located in Virginia Beach, VA and the pay is $18.50 / hr. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities : Verify and inspect incoming materials against packing slips or purchase orders, ensuring conformity to PO specifications and accurate information is entered into the Inventory Database Process returns in a timely manner Maintain inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency using stock rotation, storage, and picking plans Accurately perform inventory counts on all stocked warehouse items, keeping inventory items at correct usage levels and report shortages in a timely manner Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance inventory management efficiency Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inventory position Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in inventory management software, NetSuite a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to work on your feet, lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis Ability to work overtime as needed Benefits : Medical, dental, disability and life insurances Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Fun and supportive work environment with opportunities for advancement Powered by JazzHR
