Looking for a Legal Assistant / Transcriptionist for our law firm.

If you’re a skilled legal assistant with legal experience and a keen eye for accuracy, we want you to apply! We are seeking legal assistant with knowledge of or willing to learn to transcribe to join our esteemed law firm! In this vital role, you will transcribe legal documents dictated by the attorney, ensuring precision in formatting, citations, and language.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and accurately transcribe audio tapes for legal documents, letters, pleadings, and responses to discovery.
• Translate legal citations into proper form.
• Review documents for completeness and consistency.
• Proofread and edit errors, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Maintain the attorney’s calendar with up-to-date case dates.
• Submit and monitor medical records requests and vendor invoices.
• Handle electronic filing in state and federal courts.
• Open new matters in TABS3 legal software.
