Senior Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Sr Security Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving the overall security posture and incident response for infrastructure and application hosting environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability management to identify potential security risks

Perform penetration testing and collaborate on security improvements and architecture reviews

Manage incident detection and response efforts, leveraging SIEM tools for monitoring and threat hunting

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC, or AWS Security Specialist

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

Proven expertise in cybersecurity best practices and experience with vulnerability management platforms

Strong understanding of NIST 800-53 security standards and experience with SIEM tools
