My client, a leading healthcare organization in Boston, MA, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join their team.
This role is ideal for individuals with a healthcare degree (Health Policy, Healthcare Management, etc.) who possess excellent customer service skills and are eager to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner.
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the calendar.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence efficiently and professionally.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
- Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications :
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy, Healthcare Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
