Description

We are seeking a professional Cloud Engineer to support one of our government clients in Fort Liberty, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, designs, develops, runs tests, and evaluates systems that support cloud implementation and integrates with cloud service providers, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
  • Plans and conducts technical tasks associated with the implementation and maintenance of internal cloud enterprise-shared virtualization infrastructure.
  • Develops and executes cloud solution roadmaps as they relate to business and executes company strategy to drive the achievement of business objective.
  • Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

Professional Qualifications / Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
  • Azure or AWS, certifications
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Client management skills to discuss systems as needed
  • Relevant training and / or certifications as a Cloud Engineer
  • Secret Clearance Required
