This is a 1st shift role, working at our location in Hatfield, PA. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7am to 3 : 30pm OR 6 : 30am to 3pm.
Responsibilities :
- Package material in accordance with customer requirements and company packaging procedures.
- Determines method and mode of outgoing shipments by reviewing packing slips, purchase
- orders, emails and customer requests.
- Processes shipment utilizing UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Mgr. and the company ERP software.
- Ensure all orders ship on time; managing due dates and communicating any delays to the
- department Supervisor or sales representative.
- Must answer multiple shipping requests in a competent and informative manner utilizing
- Outlook proficiently.
- Administrate Third Party Billing and Declared Value insurance.
- Maintain all shipping records, tracking information and daily production log
- Maintain shipping area to promote efficiency and perform daily housekeeping duties
- Order shipping supplies as needed
- Drive a company owned GMC Cargo Van to pickup and deliver customer orders as needed
- Maintain the sample return area and ensure that available samples are picked, packed and shipped on a daily basis
- Receive daily orders accurately into our CSI module.
- Maintains assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
- Understands and complies with LTI’s QA Program at all times.
- Seeks clarification when specifications or directions are unclear.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures at all times.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations at all times and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator or the Manager.
- Cross train to fill in for receiving inspection and material handling positions as needed.
Qualifications :
Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.Minimum of 2 years shipping and receiving experience.Ideal candidate will be familiar with UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager and Outlook email.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on Customer Service.Detail orientated, punctual with solid time management skills.Ability to work “hands-on” and lift 50-lb boxes from ground level; Ability to push, pull, lift and / or carry up to one hundred twenty-five (125) pounds.Ability to work alone, with little supervision but maintain high level of productivity and efficiency.Able to work overtime as needed to ensure complete customer fulfillment.Relevant and recent exposure to processing 40+ orders / day- UPS / FedEx shipments.Forklift certification and a pallet jack experience a plus.Must be familiar with proper packaging methods.Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.This position requires use of information or access to processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export laws including but not limited to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). In accordance with ITAR, to be qualified to work in this facility, applicants must be a US Person, which is defined as a US National, US Permanent Resident, and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
