Position Summary
The Commercial Department Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Commercial Department, assisting with daily tasks, projects, client communications, research and coordination with aircraft operators. This role ensures smooth operations across all commercial activities, contributing to exceptional client experience and team efficiency.
Duties & Essential Responsibilities
- Support the Commercial Department team, with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Conduct Google and online research to gather market insights, identify potential aircraft operators, and support client and trip-related projects.
- Coordinate with aircraft operators to obtain quotations and identify aircraft options that best fit client needs, preferences, and itineraries.
- Verify that selected operators meet or exceed Le Bas International’s and clients’ quality and safety standards.
- Assist in managing trip details such as ground transportation, catering, and special client requests.
- Monitor active flights to ensure a seamless travel experience, communicating updates between clients and operators.
- Maintain organized trip files, collect invoices, and coordinate with the Accounting Department for trip closure.
- Assist with customer service initiatives, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Support the team with project coordination, reporting, and other departmental needs assigned.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Aviation Management, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative or operational support role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.Soft Skills Required
