POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for the daily operation of the Quality Management services. Under administrative direction, is responsible for the management, professional development, budgetary control and leadership in directing departmental operations for outcomes management and survey preparedness;
in addition, is responsible for ensuring compliance in all federal and state regulations.
PROVISION OF SERVICES
Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services / functions throughout NWTHS.

LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE
Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating departmental functions in relation to the UHS and the NWTHS vision, mission, strategic goals and values and in accordance with JCAHO’s leadership standards.

Operates departments of responsibility in such a way as to meet the fiscal goals of the organization. Implements value added programs and services.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :
- Bachelor degree required, Master’s degree in related field. preferred
- Clinical background with working knowledge of quality management
- Five years management experience, with a working knowledge of management, benchmarking, outcome measurement, team development and quality tools (preferably healthcare)
- Knowledge of statistics, data collection and survey design helpful
- Database management and / or development helpful
- Highly developed organizational, interpersonal and management skills
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (i.e. state, federal, Joint Commission, HIPAA, etc.)
