Exercise Physiology Tech
The Cardiovascular Imaging Lab performs non imaging and imaging stress tests and perfusion studies which include cardiovascular, pulmonary, oncology, general medicine and perioperative surgical patients.
This role entails performing or assisting with Nuclear Stress Tests, Echocardiogram Stress Tests, Metabolic Stress Tests, MRI Stress Tests, Right Heart Catheterization Stress Tests, 6 minute Walk Tests, and Non-Imaging Stress Tests.
The Exercise Physiologist for Cardiovascular Services conducts exercise studies in the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab. The Exercise Physiologist works under the direction of the Ross 1st Floor Leadership Team and Medical Director(s)
Minimum Education
Required Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science Physiology. Masters degree preferred with 3-5 years clinical experience with special knowledge of Cardiovascular stress testing preferred;
Considerable practical experience working in metabolic and or diagnostic testing laboratory, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (Preferred) and ACLS Certification.
