Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our production equipment and facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the meat processing industry.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues
- Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other industrial machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new equipment and technologies
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
