Job descriptionRegistered Nurse position in ICU / IMC Float specialty. Role involves floating between ICU main, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit). Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a with 36 weekly guaranteed hours and rotating weekends. Patient population includes Adult and Geriatric. Common diagnoses / treatments include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU / IMC. Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level Trauma 3. Equipment used includes Baxter Infusion Pumps and GE Monitoring. Electronic Health Record system is Medhost. Dress code requires black scrubs. Current State License required. 2 years recent acute experience required. 1 year travel experience and 1-2 years ICU experience preferred. Required certifications include ACLS. Preferred certifications include TNCC and PALS. Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a. Weekly guaranteed hours : 36. Rotating weekends. No block schedule requests; 48 hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed. Candidate shift preference flexibility requested (day or night, or only days / nights). Unit : ICU / IMC Float. Number of beds : ICU – 16, IMC – 30 (including ICU Overflow). Patient ratios : ICU – 1 : 2, IMC 1 : 3 or 1 : 4. Supervisor : ICU – Katelyn Belt, IMC – Raine Hendrickson. Equipment : Baxter Infusion Pumps, GE Monitoring. EHR : Medhost. Patient population : Adult / Geriatric.
