A regional school support program seeks a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide temporary classroom assistance and behavioral support to students. The role ensures a safe, engaging learning environment during staff absences.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Assist in implementing classroom instruction and individualized support

Provide one-on-one or small-group guidance for students

Monitor and document student behavior and academic progress

Support classroom routines, transitions, and behavioral interventions

Maintain confidentiality and comply with school safety policies

Complete school fingerprinting prior to placement

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred

Prior experience in educational, childcare, or special-education settings advantageous

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Adaptable, dependable, and able to manage diverse classroom needs

Willing to complete school fingerprinting for assignment eligibility
