HR & Payroll Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY

WHAT YOU’LL DO : PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
PAYROLL MANAGEMENT
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately using Paylocity, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
HR ADMINISTRATION
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in Paylocity.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee employee onboarding, off-boarding, and other HR-related processes.
- Create a recruiting program that attracts top talent.
POLICY DEVELOPMENT
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and update company policies and procedures.
- Regularly review and revise the employee handbook to reflect changes in company policies and legal requirements.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies as necessary.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
- Deliver a frictionless employee experience that retains, empowers, and assists in the well-being and growth of all employees.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and conflicts, and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
- Implement strategies for recognizing achievements and celebrating successes.
- Establish effective channels for gathering and acting on employee feedback.
- Encourage open communication to keep employees well-informed about company updates.
- Organize team-building activities to strengthen interpersonal relationships.
- Support professional development opportunities for individual and team growth.
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand employee concerns and provide support.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR / Payroll Manager in a similar industry, with expertise in using Paylocity a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
